International Surgical Health Initiative organizes innovative and fun-filled events to help support our ambitious program of undertaking several international surgical missions annually. Apart from broadening our donor base and raising much-needed funds that enable us to realize our goals, events also allow us to share what makes us unique as an organization with our friends, partners, volunteers, and donors. From photographers and writers to medical professionals, our founding team represents a wide range of specializations, backgrounds, and interests. In addition to our core mission of providing life-saving surgeries to underserved communities worldwide, ISHI is also dedicated to giving a voice and a face to those who have gone unnoticed for far too long. We believe that by telling their stories through images and words, we can build awareness and change lives. Many of our upcoming events will incorporate exhibitions of photographs taken from the field and written pieces that reveal who our patients and their families are, as well as our local medical partners and indispensable volunteers.
